Diet: Prairie warblers eat insects and small invertebrates, as well as spiders.

Behaviors:
  • Prairie warblers wag their tails, and hang out on branches, gleaning their food from the trees.
  • They are sometimes seen grabbing insects out of the air.

Miscellaneous:
  • Male warblers have two distinct songs: one for mating and one for territorialism. In addition, female warblers eat the eggshells after their babies have hatched.
